About Me
Chris has spent over 18 years as a real estate investment advisor and President of Specialized Wealth Management – a boutique firm specializing in sourcing 1031 Exchange replacement properties for rental property owners. His extensive industry experience also includes work as a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, in commercial real estate appraisal, and as an Acquisitions Analyst for a national syndication company where he helped to purchase enclosed malls, retail centers and office buildings across the country.
Chris earned both an undergraduate business degree and an MBA with an emphasis on Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California. During his years in the real estate industry, Chris has personally helped investors through over four hundred 1031 exchanges and has been featured as a real estate authority on television and in several industry publications, including his monthly column for Apartment Management Magazine.
Chris was a Cub Scouts den leader for a few years and, when his son discovered it, transitioned his volunteer time to Pop Warner football, where he serves as an assistant coach, board member and treasurer for the Whittier Trojans. Chris is married with three young children (a son and two daughters) and, in his free time, enjoys attending USC football games, spending time with his family, traveling, playing golf and keeping his 1965 Pontiac running.
